Team-based Work Ability Assessment, 4 Competencies

Request

Clarifies any medical limitations in work ability to give employers and employees clear conditions for planning in the ongoing rehabilitation process. The assessment normally takes 6-8 weeks.

What it is

Team-based Work Ability Assessment, 4 Competencies is done to map the empolyee's work ability regarding physical, mental and psychosocial functions. The assessment is carried out by a multi-professional team consisting of Rehab Coordinators, Occupational Health Physician, Psychologists and Physiotherapists.

The service may be relevant when you, as a manager, find that the employee has a reduced ability to work due to medical reasons. It may also be relevant if there is a need for both the individual employee and the employer to receive an overall assessment of work ability with the following recommended interventions.

How it works

  1. Mission dialogue
Assignment dialogue between the client and the rehab coordinator, where the reason and purpose of the assignment are clarified.
  2. Visit
The employee meets with each professional category in the multiprofessional team on four separate occasions for individual conversations and examinations tasked with assessing work ability.
  3. Assessment and opinion
The multiprofessional team makes an overall assessment and compiles a written statement that is sent back to employees and clients to take part in before the final accounting meeting.
  4. Accounting meeting
The meeting is led by the Rehab Coordinator who reports the results of the work ability assessment to the client and his employees. The goal is for clients and employees to agree on continued planning within the framework of the rehabilitation process.
