OrderThe statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of TSFS 2011:61, 2013:52 and SFS 2011:725 and applies to employees who perform safety-critical tasks in rail-bound traffic.
What it is
Statutory Check-Up – Train Driver, Periodic is done to assess employees’ suitability to perform safety-critical tasks. After the check-up, we will issue a medical statement.
When it should be done
- Every three years under the age of 56
- Annually from the age of 56
How it works
- Order service
When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked in for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee. - Visit
The visit consists of a general medical examination including a health declaration, drug test, sampling and a resting ECG for those over 40 years of age. - Certificate
A medical statement is issued by the doctor. - Feedback
The statement is sent in accordance with what was determined in the order. If the employee is not fit to work, you will be informed immediately.
Information for employees
- Avoid drinking or urinating three hours before the visit.
- Bring any glasses prescription/optician certificate and/or hearing aids to the examination.
- Bring your previous medical statement to the visit.
- Save the new medical statement after the visit.
