Night Work

Order

The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of AFS 2019:3 and applies to employees who work at night. 

What it is

Medical Check-up – Night Work is done to reduce health risks related to working during the night. The check-up should be offered to employees who work at least three hours or their work shift between 22-06 or who probably will work at least 1/3 or their yearly work between 22-06. The rules do not apply for temporary night work for less than three months. After the check-up, we will issue a certificate of service.

When it should be done

The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are done with the right periodicity.

How it works

  1. Order service
    After ordered service, the employee is booked in for a visit and an invitation is sent.
  2. Health declaration
    The employee fills in a health declaration which is brought to the visit.
  3. Visit
    During the visit, a health examination is carried out and the employee receives diet and sleep tips for night work.
  4. Feedback
    Based on the medical check-up, a Reply to medical check-up is sent to specified recipient via secure e-mail.
